To assist you better, I would like to know the exact issue that you are facing along with the error message if any.
- Does the device get recognized in Windows 10?
- How exactly are you trying to sync the files? Is it through USB cable or through SD card?
If the phone does not get detected, plug in the device and run the hardware and device troubleshooter and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
2. Select Troubleshooting.
3. Select View all on the top left corner.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
6. Check if issue persists.

I have the same issue, the computer would not show that I plugged in a device. I am sure there is no problem with the cable because when I checked my phone it was charging.

Totally unhelpful response.
One day the app works enabling me to download my photos from my android phone, the next day it won't - keeps asking me to put it in icloud and not in my own pc pictures folder. I want my photos on my computer - can't you guys keep things working .. supposed to be simple - Windows 10 worst program ever.
It would be helpful to more than one customer I'm sure if you would get this fixed. Re-enable the software to let us put our photos in the file folders we want.
